First, I was wondering if there would be interest in running this exchange twice a year, with reveals in July and January?

Second, there was no answer to the one pinch-hit for this exchange. Is it because it wasn't seen? If that's the case, I would like to know how else to handle pinch-hits in future so they are seen.

I was thinking late January, possibly with author reveals in February. I like the symmetry of January and July both satring with J and ending with Y (and they are exactly 6 months apart).

Maybe. On the other hand, it might not be necessary. We only had one pinch-hit this time, which is pretty good odds (the other pinch-hit was deadline confusion).
